Hi. Brook here. Do you wanna be best friends? Because YES YES AND MORE YES. 

I’m actually really surprised (and a little let down) there hasn’t been more Heather discussion actually. I know she was a one off character, someone who wasn’t going to last, and a person we didn’t really get a chance to attach ourselves to - but. 

Stiles man. STILES was attached to her. They were childhood friends and she was directly connected to memories of his mother. 

Which, REALLY HUGE BIG DEAL guys!!! Think of all the emotions that would stir up. I have a prediction. Now that Stiles has a lead on what’s happening - he’s going to get extra focused on how to solve these murders. Yes because that’s naturally who he is. But also because this has become personal for him. 

They took someone he shared his past with. Someone who meant something to him. Someone he considered a friend. Even though they may not have been close recently - time doesn’t always erase your past. 

Think of them as childhood friends. They would play with and pick at each other. Their moms would talk and gossip in the kitchen while Stiles and Heather would get into any kind of trouble they could find. She probably bossed him around a lot. And he was probably totally ok with that as long as he got to be the boy Barbie this time 

They grow up a little, Stiles’s mom dies, things change…. And then Heather and her family reminds him of his mom. It’s too much. He needs space. 

Then Scott comes along and a whole new part of his life starts.

Eventually. After enough healing and distance Stiles can see Heather as a new person, and not someone directly connected to his mom. 

Then Heather dies……

And Stiles SEES her on the table. 

GAH. So yeah. I gots me some feels and headcanon about this. Come to me!!! *opens arms*
